  Glad i've been ME on JWD

  i am so glad that i've managed to be the real me on jwd and at worse the only thing i am guilty of is having a bit of fun by having jibes at some of my friends here, so i shall sleep soundly tonight, tomorrow and forever....sounds like i'm gonna die dont it lol.. to all those of you who are as made up as your jwd alias, if your reading this...tut tut shame on you .

  sometimes i despair, i wonder why others would want to hurt fellow jwd'ers by betraying trust unless they came here from the start to hurt..or got bitter...or are just plain screwed up...we were all betrayed once, isn't that enough.

  can i just confirm, there is an adult majority here right?

  I'm me also.

  Unfortunately, I see alot of the same pettiness and BS here that I saw in the Borg. I guess people are people no matter where you find them, every organization (or forum) is merely a microcosm of humanity in general. So we will always have the feebs, the dweebs, the twits, the twats, the liars, the boasters, the backstabbers, the posers and losers, no matter where you go.

  I just try to filter as much as I can and give zero energy to those that do not wish to be honest and up front about who and what they are. To give them my attention only empowers them. Frankly I had my bellyfull in the Borg. Hate to see the same BS here.

  Now that said, if you wish to be an a$$hole (not you KW) at least be an honest a$$hole. You will at least have my respect for your honesty.

  Why is infant Mortality in US worse than Morocco or Costa Rica?

  why are there so many premature births?.

  why are the deaths of the premature higher in the us?.

  why is the mortality for african americans babies more than 2.5% higher than for others ( 5% as opposed to 13%)?

  Oh Great, another "Bash America" thread.

  I have worked in many foriegn countries, many of them in the third world.

  When you step off a plane and the first thing that hits you is the smell of open sewers and rotting flesh you realize that . . .

  The US isn't so bad.

  seems like even when i was a little kid, i'd find out why someone got df'd.

  This was one of the things that screamed to me that something was wrong in the org.

  Many times I had elders break a confidence I had with them. As a result of these betrayals, I trust almost no one today with the exception of my youngest brother, my mom, and my wife.

  sometimes you meet people that care about you.

  then you find out they live across town!

  then you find out you have soooooo much in common.....we have lost pretty much all our "friends"......maybe we have moved.......maybe we are dfd.....maybe be we have been marked like me.......thank you jwd.....and changeling!

  Oomp, I have a casino literally 1 mile from my house. I go there a couple times a year with $20 just to remind myself why I don't go there more often!! And I usually see some dubs there.

  Outlaw, where in BC? I worked an extensive Telecomm project in Vancouver for BC Tel back in the 80s, also in Alberta for AGT, (Edmonton, Banf, and Calgary)

  does anyone have any good memories at all of beng raised a jw?

  the cong i was brought up in was a different one to the ones we were in when we got married.

  growing up the meetings were a great social event for all us kids.

  Thanks for posting that, Brinjen. Very interesting. I fully believe that the Church Of Scientology is capable of blackmail, and more.

  I'm no expert, but what I know about Scientology makes The Borg look pretty tame. I came pretty close to accepting studies with them back in the 80's (After my first departure from the Borg) until I did some research about them. Very scary.

  I used to enjoy Tom Cruise as an entertainer. Now I can't stand the sight of the twit. At least John Travolta doesn't make a public ass of himself.

  the ones i knew were all so corrupt and most full of bs, and eventually thier kids too.....i wonder if they are on this forum.

  it would be satisfying to know they finally came to!.

  i'll never forget the assembly in madison, wi.

  where some poor sap had to tell everyone that he had become addicted to porno on the net, but through much prayerful contemplation and after confessing to the elders he was able to come to "grips" with it.. good luck to that guy with ever getting a fine sister to marry him.. poor guy.
